Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Game at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend

The club confirmed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Basque side in domestic competition 30 months since relocating to allow renovations to start.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. After final construction, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. The club said recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.

Officials stated approval is being pursued from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December at the stadium.
