The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

The rising star boasts impressive online following

Kai Trump can count on numerous well-known cheerleaders when she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially advised me to play and have fun," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments this year and maintains position 461 in AJGA standings.

However she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.

"And he's an even better person. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai brings golf to different demographics, particularly reaching the next generation.

The social media influencer boasts a massive following and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
